چکیده

Hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs), as a promising solution to mitigate environmental pollution and reduce fuel consumption, employ combination of power supply for boosting the vehicle's economy. Comparing conventional internal combustion engine (ICE) driven vehicles, additional propulsion source in electrified powertrain systems HEVs leads extra control degree freedom. Thus, well-designed energy management strategy (EMS) is indispensable cope with complexity distribution existing multiple system. Equivalent consumption minimisation (ECMS) one most EMS techniques due its capability achieving real-time local optimal control. In ECMS, key parameter – equivalent factor (EF) usually employed unify ICE into single variable representing economy, thereby instantaneous economy optimisation. This paper comprehensively surveys state-of-the-art ECMSs PHEVs HEVs. Firstly, basic operation mechanism discussed. Then, are classified based on their dependence either online computation or offline pre-computation. Moreover, core technique EF adaptation elaborated terms principles, characteristics, advantages, disadvantages. addition, factors well corresponding integration methods analysed summarised. Finally, future research trends gaps development

Adaptive Equivalent Consumption Minimization Strategy for Hybrid Electric Vehicles

This paper proposes a new method for solving the energy management problem for hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) based on the equivalent consumption minimization strategy (ECMS). After discussing the main features of ECMS, an adaptation law of the equivalence factor used by ECMS is presented, which, using feedback of state of charge, ensures optimality of the strategy proposed. The performance of...

Modification of Equivalent Consumption Minimization Strategy for a Hybrid Electric Vehicle

Equivalent consumption minimization strategy (ECMS) is one of the main real-time control strategies for hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs). This paper proposes a method to modify this strategy. This modification reduces calculation time of ECMS and therefore, facilitates its application as the real-time controller. Dynamic programming (DP) method is employed to reach this aim. This method is appli...

A Novel Equivalent Consumption Minimisation Strategy for a Series Hybrid Electric Vehicle

In this paper, a novel Equivalent Consumption Minimization Strategy (ECMS) is developed for a series hybrid powertrain system, based on the flow of energy through energy sources and components. The performance of the controller is assessed using both urban and highway drive cycles, through comparing results for the series hybrid powertrain system against a comparable conventional powertrain. Fu...

A new control strategy for energy management in Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles based on Fuzzy Cognitive Maps

In this paper, a new control strategy for energy management in Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs) using Fuzzy Cognitive Map (FCM) is presented. In this strategy, FCM is used as a supervisory control such that the State of Charge (SoC) of the battery is kept in the acceptable range and fuel consumption per kilometer is reduced, in addition to providing the request power. Since this method ...
